How Time Auction works

1. Earn Karma

Donating and logging past volunteer hours earns you Karma Points, which you can then use to bid on auctions. $1 donated earns 1 Karma Point and 1 hour volunteered earns 10 Karma Points.

2. Bid

Bid your Karma Points to meet inspiring people, such as humanitarians, entrepreneurs, athletes, or artists. Most auctions allow every bidder to win if the goal is reached.

3. Meet

Time Auction is all about priceless experiences and rewards for the priceless philanthropy you do. Depending on the auction, meetings are done virtually or in person... or both!

Grab lunch with Brian

Grab a lunch with Brian while chatting entrepreneurship. Feel free to ask him about a typical day at work, how he got started in tech, or what he's most excited about for his company in the upcoming years! This lunch will occur on Mar. 20, from 11:00a.m. – 12:30p.m. in downtown Vancouver.

Sauder grad at 18, Brian Wong is now the CEO of Kiip and a social media expert who's redefining mobile advertising through innovation.

Brian Wong, in many ways, is like other entrepreneurs: ahead of the curve. Really far ahead. Brian graduated from Sauder at 18, and moved from his hometown of Vancouver to the Bay Area, where he got a job at Digg. At the same time, he was getting his own forward-looking business together. Kiip (pronounced "keep") builds rewards into mobile apps. Brands like Disney, Amazon, and Pepsi partner with Kiip, so when users complete a puzzle, or a rate a show, they gain access to discounts and other rewards. Backed by Relay Ventures, Interpublic Group, Hummer Winblad, True Ventures, Digital Garage, Amex, and others, the company has raised $15.4 million in funding to date.

Kiip has been named one of the world's 50 Most Innovative Companies by Fast Company, listed by Forbes as one of the Four Hot Online Ad Companies to Put on Your Watch List, and included on the Dow Jones FasTech50 list. After skipping four K-12 grades, Wong received his Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia at age 18, and shortly after became one of the youngest people to ever receive venture capital funding.
