Based in San Francisco, Roham Gharegozlou is an entrepreneur and angel investor. He was a partner at Rising Tide Fund, an early-stage venture capital firm. Prior to joining Rising Tide, Roham served with Newbury Ventures, a technology-focused venture fund with $300M invested capital in various verticals including mobile (Zong, Echovox); enterprise (BDNA); and life science technologies (Sentillion, NextBio).
An entrepreneur at heart, Roham enjoys working closely with founders to crystallize product vision and create value. He is a founder of Axiom Zen, a Vancouver-based software development firm, and a director of its Launch Labs division focused on helping startups build better technology. His interests are focused around entrepreneurship, technology, bio-medicine and economic development.
Prior to joining venture capital, Roham traveled a diverse path crossing career lines between science, law, sales, and finance. Since 2009, he has served with TechWadi, a Silicon Valley-based nonprofit, as Program Director and a mentor. Roham holds a B.A. in Economics and dual B.S. and M.S. degrees in Biological Sciences from Stanford University.

In this two-hour session, you will have 15 minutes to pitch your business or idea to Roham. Afterwards, Roham will give you his feedback and work with you on a roadmap going forward for your project.
