Harold Munro has been with The Vancouver Sun for 28 years. He's a lover of constructive conversation and is a political junkie.

Harold became editor-in-chief of the Vancouver Sun in the spring of 2012. The Vancouver Sun has been around for 102 years, and Harold has been a part of it for 28 of those years.
Harold started at the Vancouver Sun in 1986 as a freelance reporter, covering high school sports. He then worked his way through various reporting roles in the newsroom to become city assignment editor, and subsequently, the city editor. He more recently served as special projects editor before becoming a deputy managing editor.
Today as editor-in-chief, Harold oversees the largest newsroom in western Canada, producing a daily newspaper, multi-media content for smartphone and tablet, and two websites vancouversun.com and the Chinese language taiyangbao.ca

Harold graduated from Kwantlen University College in 1985.
